How PALLAS Pay Works

Your entire wallet. One device.

PALLAS Pay replaces every card in your wallet with a single biometric-secured device. No phone required at the terminal.

Load your cards

Plug PALLAS Pay into your phone via USB-C. Open the PALLAS app. Add your credit cards, debit cards, and XInfinitum Card to the encrypted vault. Cards are tokenized inside the secure element — raw card numbers never leave the chip.

Select your active card

In the app, choose which card is active for NFC payments. Only one card can be active at a time. Your selection is written to the secure element. Unplug — your device is primed and ready. To switch cards, plug back in and choose again.

Tap to pay — with your fingerprint

At any NFC terminal, hold PALLAS Pay near the reader and place your finger on the biometric sensor. Payment fires only when your live fingerprint is verified. The NFC module is hardware-disabled at all other times — no passive scanning, no relay attacks possible.

No account. No logging.

Unlike Apple Pay and Google Pay, PALLAS Pay has no cloud account, no transaction logging by Pilon Laboratories, and no third party that can see your spending. Your payment data stays between you, your bank, and the merchant — exactly as a physical card works.

Pre-Order Terms & Conditions

  • ◆ All pre-orders are final. Pre-order payments are non-refundable. By completing a pre-order you acknowledge that PALLAS is a pre-production product and that delivery timelines are estimates subject to change.
  • ◆ Full payment required. Pre-orders are charged in full at the time of purchase, including all applicable taxes (HST and other local taxes where applicable).
  • ◆ Defective units will be replaced. If your PALLAS device is non-functional upon receipt, we will replace it at no charge. Replacement is the sole remedy for pre-order customers; cash refunds are not available.
  • ◆ Pre-orders fund production. Your purchase directly finances the manufacturing run. Planned shipment is Q2 2027, subject to change. We will communicate any changes by email.
  • ◆ Model and colour substitution. In the unlikely event your selected model or colour cannot be fulfilled, we will contact you to arrange an equivalent substitution prior to shipment.
  • ◆ Production cancellation. Pilon Laboratories will make every effort to deliver PALLAS as planned. In the unlikely event that production must be permanently cancelled, we will make best efforts to issue partial refunds proportional to unspent pre-order funds remaining after manufacturing, tooling, certification, and other production costs have been incurred. Because pre-order payments are used to fund production directly, we cannot guarantee a full or partial refund if production costs have already been committed. We will communicate transparently with all pre-order customers in any such event.

We will send email updates as manufacturing milestones are reached — including prototype completion, certification, and production start. Pre-order customers receive priority allocation and are first to ship.
Pre-orders are currently managed via our contact/interest form. You will receive a secure payment link closer to shipping. No charge is taken until your order is confirmed for shipment.
PALLAS presents as a standard USB HID device and requires no drivers on Windows 10/11, macOS 12+, and Linux (kernel 5.4+). FIDO2 / WebAuthn works in Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge. iOS and Android support is planned for a future firmware update.
Yes. PALLAS is fully FIDO2 / CTAP2 / WebAuthn compliant. It will work wherever FIDO2 hardware keys are accepted — Google, Microsoft, GitHub, Cloudflare, and thousands of enterprise applications. PALLAS adds post-quantum signature algorithms not available in any other consumer hardware key.
All data stored on PALLAS is encrypted with AES-256-GCM and can only be decrypted by presenting the registered fingerprint. Without a live biometric match, the device is cryptographically inert. FIDO2 accounts can be recovered through your account provider's standard backup-code process.
Initial shipping will focus on Canada and the United States. International availability — including the EU and UK — will follow. Government and enterprise orders have separate procurement channels; contact derek@pilonlaboratories.com for volume and government purchasing inquiries.
IP67 certification testing will be completed during the production validation phase. The 1TB Pro model is designed for IP67 compliance (1 metre submersion for 30 minutes) using an anodized aluminum enclosure with sealed USB-C port cover.
